This model, with the distinctive hole in the tip, was Fischer's top cross country skate ski before the addition of last year's Speedmax model. The Carbon Pro tip and tail design makes the weight savings at the extremity of the ski, so the swing weight is reduced where it is most critical. This ski initiates a glide faster than just about anything else out there, and you can choose between Stiff and Medium flexes depending on your weight and ski style. Fischer's bidirectional Carbonlite Air Core with multiaxial carbon fiber provides this ski with unprecedented control and power transfer through a wide range of snow conditions. The skis come with advanced stone ground patterns and are pre-waxed for maximum speed. We've found the Plus base to be far and away the best grind for our local conditions.
This year's model offers an improved tip design, with a bit shorter and lower profile. It is also now built on Fischer's "610" chassis, with longer, even, pressure distribution points that are great for packed and softer snow conditions.
Computer Flex Control ensures that your skis are paired to the strictest standards. We offer it with a NIS Plate so the NNN binding attaches right to it, or you can easily mount a Salomon binding on top.
Contrary to popular opinion, you don't need to be a world cup racer to enjoy a high end ski such as the Carbonlite. Even your average enthusiastic skater will feel the difference between this high performance ski and one with less features.
