Salomon took the S-Lab Skate boot success of the past few years, gave it a new color, and most importantly added the new RS 17 mm pivot point set back. This 17mm set-back is only found on the new S Lab Pro and S-Lab boots. At Paco'sXC.com we feel this is a huge advancement in skier control, push off, power transmission and responsiveness. Because it has no over-the-arch fit strap like the Pro, it is Salomon's lightest skate boot at 1200gram per pair. Loaded with carbonfiber, this is still the boot for many world cup racers and citizen racers alike.
